<正> 美国地质调查局下属国家制图局主要研究地理和地图制图理论和应用、拟订长远发展计划、为生产部门提供业务和技术咨询。1980年机构改组对美国制图计划、科研活动影响很大。目前,地理和地图制图、空间数据分析方面的研究重点是探讨数字制图和建立数字制图数据库。每个领域中心设立一个
